WLL-560 Mastering Theory: On Feminist Criticism

I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I don’t post into my blog. My last entry, was on Winter’14. Many things have passed since that last post, among one of them the beginning of new path: my academic career. Today, I want to comment briefly on something that’s daunting me lately. Feminism is not dead, but our patriarchal system is certainly well and alive.

I’m reading “Towards a Feminist Poetics,” a really interesting essay by the Feminist Literary Critic Elaine Showalter, and I’m still amazed at how pervasive is the patriarchal ideology. I will publish the article summary I’m working on, in an effort to share.
